As I have explained in my previous post, there are a lot of cool new features with Performance Point 2010 and one of them is the ability to connect a Performance Point Filter Web Part to a native SharePoint list Web Part.
If you select the connection properties of the Performance Point Web Part, you get the following screen:
and then you can specify to pass the display name of the performance point filter and match it with the Title (in my caseā¦) of the custom SharePoint list:
Once this is done, you get a dynamic link between the filter and the list:
This is a really cool feature for scenarios like displaying KPI explanation / summary stored in a SharePoint list.
